Here are some tips and tricks to increase your efficiency and productivity so that you can spare time for everything.

Here are some tips and tricks to increase your efficiency and productivity so that you can spare time for everything.
  • Organize client’s folders. Make sure that you keep every correspondence at one place for each client. Same way you need to organize your computer too. Scan all important documents and keep a copy in the respective folders in the computer so that you can able to locate it easily.
  • Set up an e-mail filter for all incoming mails so that it goes directly to the categorized folders and you do not have to spend time in sorting them. While sending mails to clients always include your subject line descriptive. This will help people to search your mail easily and respond quickly.
  • Keep personal assistant for your day-to-day work such as e-mail replies, booking meetings, travel arrangements, event planning. You will able to manage your time in some different important work.
  • Schedule the list of each plan or task that you have for every day. Priorities the task. Do important task according to your priority in the very beginning of the day. This is because in the morning your mind is fresh and your body is energized. Try to cut down any backlogs that you may have. Managing time is very important. This is the biggest obstacle of productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain the same office timings every day. Do not take your personal work to office and also do not bring your office work at home. This will only create stress in your life.
  • Set your voice messages. Do not respond calls if you are in the middle of some important work. Set timings in your non-peak hours to return calls.
  • Installing the Google toolbar will make your work lot easier. Use its bookmarking system to save your favorite website that you visit quite often. This will save your time in typing the website address each time you visit.
  • Use Google alerts if you are a frequent visitor of the news updates for your business or industry or for your personal use. It will send important news updates to your e-mail id and this is absolutely free.
  • Keep your marketing files separate and within your reach. You will need this file quite often.
  • Being productive all the time is not possible. We all have physical and mental needs which are important for peak performance. So take a break in between work and give some time to relax yourself. Go for a short walk after lunch. This will only increase your productivity of work.
  • Outsource somebody for your routine tasks like keeping track of bills, expenses, maintenance of website and submit press releases, disbursement of salary, etc.
  • Take a good night sleep so that each morning when you come to office you will feel fresh and energized. It will help you reduce stress due to your work load. Try meditation to reduce stress. You will become more productive by relaxing and enjoying the experience of life.
  • Use comfortable and ergonomic chair, if you spend most of the time with computers. This will provide support to your neck and back. You will not feel restless all day long.
  • Have automatic systems to do some work like automatic invoice creation and CRM system. The time invested in automation and time saving is well invested. This will allow your business to be more ‘scalable’.
