In this competitive world, parents are becoming more and more pushy as compared to the older times. Almost all parents want that their kids to perform best in every field. They want them to perform well in school as well sports, and even in drawing and dance. For this reason, they push their children very hard. Believe it or not, it started even before kids start going to school. Parents start singing the alphabets, numbers even the rhymes to the preschoolers.

It has been found in the new research that kids of the pushy parents lacks in self-confidence, and decision making skills. They load their kids with many extra curricular activities like dance classes, art and drawing classes, swimming and many others. If the kids are interested in taking these classes, it is good, but many kids are just forced to attend these classes just because their parents want them to do. This will ultimately lead to bad behavior among the kids. They become more aggressive in nature.

It is very important that kids should create their own way to play games or whatever they want to do. However, it is also parent’s responsibility to supervise and help them. Allow them to explore their world in their own way. This is the time when kids learn, and develop various skills which will help them in their adulthood. Hence, if they are doing things according to their imagination, help them, instead of being pushy.

Now days, parents do not have time to give their kids proper quality time. But they want them to learn everything, in this attempt; kids are forced to attend various classes, in which they may not be interested. Some parents become pushy so that their children lead better life than that what they have lived in their childhood. For example, if the parents had life filled with struggle, they do not want their kids to face the same struggle in their life too.

It is very sad that there are also some parents who push their children hard because of the competition they do with other kids. These parents start comparing their kids with others. These parents want to be known as the parents of the number one child. Keeping these things in mind they push their children in each and every activity. They put them in the best schools. These parents feel happier by the fact that their children are studying in the best school of the city. They find much happiness not on the success of their kids, but in the fact that they are ahead of other students in all fields.

It has been found that if the parents are too pushy, it may creates dislike between their relationships. As they grow up, and began understanding things, your kids will begin to dislike you for being so hard or pushy on them. They may even think that the parents were never good for them. Pushing your kids hard will also make them angry with you. Therefore, it is not good for the relationship between you and your child. As far as possible, avoid it.

However, pushing your child to get success in his or her life and to become a great achiever is a great thing, but you should know how to balance it. You should not act pushy every time for everything with your kids.
