Sydney is a beautiful city and looks amazing on the Vivid Sydney Festival which is the festival of light, music and ideas and includes the marvelous lighting of the Sydney Opera House Sails. Vivid Sydney Festival 2011 was launched on 27 May and 2011 is the third year of its celebrations and Vivid has become the most eminent festival of Sydney.
Deputy Premier of NSW Andrew Stoner formally opened Vivid Sydney and said “On the opening weekend The Rocks and Circular Quay were packed with people, the atmosphere similar to New Year’s Eve with families, kids and friends out and about enjoying the festival. Thousands have followed the trail of light around Circular Quay and The Rocks, taking in over 40 light installations including interactive light sculptures and awe-inspiring projections by a global field of artists from countries including Germany, Singapore, New Zealand.”

This year SUPERBIEN-The French digital projection artists have lighten the sea, Light Music and Ideas at Vivid Sydney 2011 have made this festivity attractive to the whole world. Every night from 27th May, Sydney has been lightening up with beautiful and illuminating lights and this festivity will continue till 13th of June. Approximately 400,000 people are expected to visit Vivid Sydney Festival.
