First of all you have to understand that not a single food items contains all the nutrients you need. Therefore, we have to include wide varieties of food in our daily diets. Our body is adjusted and is able to take food from both sources plants as well as from animals. For this reason, we should be thankful for our digestive enzymes which basically help to digest the food no matter raw or cooked and break down to turn it into useful energy. The digesting efficiency of an individual is directly proportional to the weight.

Do you get all the nutrients needed by the body in the food you eat?

First of all you have to understand that not a single food items contains all the nutrients you need. Therefore, we have to include wide varieties of food in our daily diets. Our body is adjusted and is able to take food from both sources plants as well as from animals. For this reason, we should be thankful for our digestive enzymes which basically help to digest the food no matter raw or cooked and break down to turn it into useful energy. The digesting efficiency of an individual is directly proportional to the weight. Hence we need to be extra careful about what we eat, how much we eat, and how many times we eat. Balance food is the secret of a healthy lifestyle.

For example we have to have these nutrients in our diet on daily basis—minerals, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, fiber, fatty acids, and water. These nutrients are essential to take because bodies cannot make it.

Some fruits contain lots of vitamins C while there are many vegetables available that has folic acid while there are others which have different mineral contents. So it is essential that we mix and match different kinds of food stuffs in our diet such as meat, fish, vegetables, eggs, milk, cereals, fruits, etc.

Well balanced diets must not contain junks in it. The junk foods like pizzas, burgers, and soda do not have any nutrients contents in them. Processed foods also have no or very little nutritive values like white bread. Even cooking process also destroys many nutrients but in some case it is good because it destroys microorganisms. Well, we have to eat the combination of both cooked and raw food.

We can freely eat at least 2-3 servings of a fibrous carbs diet. Fibrous crabs diet is not the significant source of calories in it. Vegetables like spinach, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, radishes, belle peppers are fibrous and good for health, so include these in your diet.  Low carbs fruits like peaches, different types of berries, cantaloupe, and grapefruit are good. In case you are in strict fat loss diet then restrict yourself from eating bananas, raisins, grapes, pears, and apricots.

Apart from mix and match different food items in the diet plan make sure the breakfast, lunch and dinner time should also be right. Morning is the time when you should take good care because stomach is empty for more than 8 hours or long. Morning breakfast should include protein rich diet.

There are certain food stuffs which when mix and match together would be very good for health:

Combination of baked potato and spinach

Iron is one of the most important mineral for the body which helps to transport oxygen in the blood. Low iron levels are responsible for anemia, fatigues, weakness, and dizziness. Moreover, body only absorbs two percent of iron from the plant source but if it is combined with vitamin C, it produces a chemical reaction which brings sufficient levels of iron in the body. Therefore, mix spinach (source of iron) with baked potato (source of vitamin c).

Combination of red peppers and feta cheese

All colorful veggies are a good source of carotenoids, which reduces the risk of heart disease. Fat helps these carotenoids to become more soluble. Hence, cheese help carotenoids of red peppers to absorb in the intestine and passed into the bloodstream in a better way.

Combination of rosemary and beef

Rosemary has antioxidants properties. Antioxidant inhibits the formation of carcinogenic compounds known as heterocyclic amines (HCAs). Rosemary can reduce the level of many harmful substances from the body. Rub rosemary or marinades or even mix it with hamburger meat.

Combination of broccoli, fish and tomato

Eating fish is good because it contains selenium. Selenium is a mineral which raise the levels of a cancer-fighting enzyme. And broccoli contains sulforaphane, which is a chemical used to boosts the same enzyme. When both fish and broccoli eaten together, it becomes 13 times more effective to reduce the cancer cell growth. Another studies reveals that prostrate tumors is less in males who take broccoli and tomatoes together in diet rather taken separately.
