The study of handwriting is known as Graphology. Graphology experts perform a handwriting analysis to find out the character, skills, interests, strengths and weakness, etc of a writer. Also keep in mind that Graphology experts are different from that of real handwriting experts who only reads and analyze forensic documents and helping investigating department in case of forgery and other cases.

Graphologists analyze handwriting with dots, loops, crossed or uncrossed t’s in a word. They typically see the letter spacing, speed of writing, way the letters are placed either it is straight or slanting. They also measure the heights and the ending strokes. It is their belief that when people write something it also exhibits one’s mind in its unconscious state. Therefore, as per graphologists handwriting shows many more details about person’s behavior and character. As a matter of fact, we all know that brain is the main organ which dictates every other organ to do work. So at the time of writing also it is the brain that regulates the moods and handwriting becomes a part of it. Whatever we write, it shows our emotions which are right inside us. This helps graphologist to understand and know many things about a person from handwriting.

Like astrology and numerology, graphology also becoming more useful art in understanding and knowing details about the past and future, any major changes, health problems, change in a job or location etc.

It has also been revealed that some top French companies were using Graphology for the process of their recruitment. Well, it is difficult to found out how many companies were or are using it because they do not publish their internal matter about the process of recruitment in the public.

According to the review conducted by the British Psychological Society on the use of Graphology for the process of recruitment, they have found various supporting facts. One of the main findings what they found is that the graphology has same importance as that of astrology. They believe that the handwriting which leaves wide spaces between the letters denotes the likeness of isolation and solitariness. This broad spaces between the words also reveals that a person do not easily mingle and feels awkward to come closer with other person.

No one’s handwriting is same. Handwriting is something which is exclusively belongs to a person. It is therefore possible for graphologist to discover a lot of things about a person’s nature, character after looking at the handwriting.

For a Graphologist to read handwriting, they need a sample of handwriting at least of 12 lines which must also comprise of a signature and should be written on a plain paper. The writer must have used a ballpoint or a fountain pen to write. Graphologist should also know whether the writer is male or female and his or her age. Knowledge of nationality to them also helps in some respect to read the handwriting in a more better and accurate way. They use a very high quality magnifying glass, a plastic scale or a ruler in which millimeters are shown and a protractor which shows the angle of the handwriting in which it has been written. The main things they examine and interpret out of this analysis are size of the letters, angle in which it is written, strokes being made by pen and lastly the total handwriting.
