The US military has reached a new high again- F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Vertical landing is what has been achieved and that too at first attempt on 18th March and this opens up whole new grounds and new possibilities for the military but not for our country alone. These tests were being carried out on the F-35 aircrafts, among the most superior fighter aircrafts of the fifth generation and this was a part of the program which was for Short Takeoffs and vertical Landing (STOVL) and their aim and goal has definitely been achieved to a large extent.

Since this supersonic aircraft is already the most superior fighter aircraft in the world, this is an added feature that makes this the only supersonic machine that can vertically land in constricted spaces both on water as well as on land. One can only imagine the magnitude of achievement from the fact that the US military are not the only ones who are excited about this achievement in vertical landing, in fact the Royal Air Force as well as the Italian Air Force and both their Navy forces as well are looking forward to employing the F-35 aircraft for their global projects not to mention the fact that this means an added feature in their military security measures as well.


The great part about having achieved this vertical landing from the aircraft is that all the countries- the USA as well as its allied nations who will be using the aircraft can actually take off from small sea vessels as well as from places that are unprepared for taking off and they can also neatly land in such places without trouble. This only means that global expeditions and plans can easily be executed without worrying about place enough or preparation enough to land.
