The Odor-Eaters always organize the smelliest sneaker competition also known as the Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker competition. This year was the 35th competition with a lot of opportunity to ensure that kids who participated had extremely smelly footwear. But even with nine participants enthusiastically taking part, no one could stop Trinette Robinson from defeating the other contestants. She attributed her win to a lot of volunteering work and spending time doing Girl Scout. This also means that Trinette is possibly thanking her lucky stars to have worked so incredibly hard in getting such atrociously smelly shoes! The judges checked on every bit of the shoe to ensure that it deserved the win.

So what does she get for such smelly sneakers? To begin with quite a large sum of prize money. More importantly for the kid, an all expense paid trip to New York city which can also be a whole lot of fun because she gets to see a screening of The Lion King on Broadway! If you are thinking that is quite a booty then there is actually more. She gets free supply of Odor- Eaters products to beat out the smell in her sneakers. So that is quite an interesting line up of great gifts!


A lot of important people from NASA were present to ensure that the judgment of the smelliest shoes were quite fair. The line up of judges included people like "Master Sniffer" who is also known as George Aldrich. He is the Chemical Specialist for NASA space missions, along with the very renowned Rachel Herz, Ph.D., author of The Scent of Desire, and professor at Brown University. They had to look into the shoes of each and every contestant to determine which was the smelliest! Now this is definitely quite a fun contest to judge for them!
